Social media reacts as man returns 1.8 million found in indomie carton

It is easily said than done and you cannot say you are a faithful person until you find yourself in a situation where you have to choose between your reputation and a huge life-changing sum of money.

A native of Nigerian who responds by the name Chidiebere Ogbonna decided to chose the former over the later, leaving many people in a state of surprise.

Chidiebere Ogbonna reportedly returned 1.8 million naira which he discovered in a carton of indomie noodles he bought.

According to information, the carton was partially filled with noodles together with bundles of N1000 notes.

Narrating his practical experience, Chidiebere said he got home, opened the carton and there was the money in the indomie carton breathing quietly. When he saw it , he instantly returned it without hesitation.

Answering the question of why he returned the cash despite the hardship prevailing in the country, he said the money was not his, so there was no need for him to keep it.

Reports say the surprised vendor who could not hold back his joy, thanked Chidiebere and told him to come back and collect a carton of indomie whenever he needs it till the month of December.

How people can be faithful enough to return such an amount of money in this season where poverty is slapping everybody left and right?
