Young man has been captured on camera attempting to buy a phone from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle but getting a fake object thought to be a stone or soap instead.
According to the post sighted by AtinkaNews.net on social media showed a group of young men attempting to alert the unsuspecting victim to no avail.
It seems the man who appeared to be much older than the gentleman who sold him the phone was allowed to explore the handset and ensure it was original.
However, just when it was time for the buyer to bag the product, the gentleman took bag the phone and in a flash, swapped it with another package he had in his back pocket.
To prevent the victim from suspecting the swapping process, the boy was seen making hand gestures to distract the buyer as his other hand did the swapping.
Also, immediately he exchanged the fake object for the original phone, the seller put it directly inside the bag the unsuspecting buyer held, instructing him to keep it safe.

Finally, this video has shown how the original phones are ‘turned’ into objects without the buyer noticing.
