Ghanaians blasts Pope Skinny for claiming Shatta Wale’s video with Beyonce is fake [Watch]

A former friend of Shatta Wale, Edwin Kwame Ohene Darko popularly known as Pope Skinny, claims Beyoncé and Shatta Wale were never together for the shoot of their music video titled ‘Already’.

Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale was featured by multiple award-winning musician Beyonce in her ‘Black is King’ album.

Although the groundbreaking music title ‘Already’ which saw Beyonce feature Shatta Wale was released last year, the video has just dropped and it is now the talk of the town.

Several people have showered praises on Shatta Wale for such a feat for himself and for making Ghana proud.

But Pope Skinny who used to be Shatta Wala’s close pal in a video which has gone viral on social media has made claims that the ‘Already’ music video is fake.

The artist stated that the scenes were shot separately and edited to make it seem that the two were together.

In a Facebook live video, Pope Skinny said he is not hating on Shatta Wale but the truth must be told.

Wale never met Beyonce. I was in America in September last year. You see this video… Shatta Wale and Beyonce were never together”, he claimed.

Ghanaian on Social media didn’t see his comment lightly at all and they have descended on him for making such an unfounded comment.
