Sammy Gyamfi storms police station to bail President of Small Scale Miners

The communication officer of the National Democratic Congress, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, has in the early hours of today visited the Nima Police station to seek bail for the President of small scale miners association in Ghana.

The victim, Kojo Peprah was arrested in Kumasi and then hurried transferred to Accra.

His arrest came after a post he made on his facebook page. In the post, Mr. Kojo Peprah threatened to expose the president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo.

The NDC has condemned tha act of arrest, as they describe is an intimidation and abuse of power by the incumbent NPP government.

According to them, Mr. Kojo Peprah has been denied acess to his lawyers, an act the NDC has described as very shameful.

They further argued that, the arrest was an attempt by incumbency to silence all who had the power to expose the president, and as an attempt to silence the likes of Kojo Peprah, the incumbent NPP party are arresting whoever they deem a threat to their winning power come December 2020 elections, according to the NDC.
