Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, and his alleged girlfriend, Nina Atala, have been spotted together in public for the first time.
Gyan and Atala were among the many people who attended the funeral of former Black Stars defender, John Paintsil’s mother, Juliana Diaba.

It will be recalled that rumours of an affair between Gyan and Atala came up on social media in June 2018, when the striker opened his BJ Sports Bar at Osu.
The rumours of their affair became rife when news of the footballer’s divorce saga with his wife, Gifty, first broke.
As reported , the social media rumours claimed that Atala, who is the owner of the building housing Gyan’s BJ Sports Bar at Osu, was the reason why he was trying to leave his wife.

Even though the rumours lingered on for some time, both Gyan and Atala did not comment and were not spotted together at the time to even suggest that they were friends.
But almost two years after, Gyan and Atala have stepped out together for the first time as they joined Paintsil to lay his mother to his rest.
In one of the photos from the funeral which has been sighted on the popular Instagram blog, Sweet Maame Adwoa, two are found seated with Paintsil at the funeral.
Gyan sat to Paintsil’s left with Atala sitting to his left followed by other ladies.
