Dancehall musician Emmanuel Andrews Samini, commonly known as Samini, has endorsed President Akufo-Addo, and has released a campaign song for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The artiste in a series of tweets yesterday, declared his support for the president of the republic and went ahead to release a song to that effect.
In one of the tweets, he wrote: “These are challenging times for the world. My Voice, My Vote will support Leadership that has empathy and serves to create a hopeful future for the next generation #kpoyaka”.

The Award winning Reggae/Dancehall artist, has followed up with official music video for his campaign song for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The visuals to the song titled “Kpoyaka” was shared on the official Instagram page of His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo. “Kpoyaka by @samini_dagaati. SUPER ENDORSEMENT from Samini,” the caption read.
The video takes us through memory lane on all the achievements by the NPP since its assumption of power in the year 2016.

Samini is not the only celebrity who has openly shared their support for the NPP, Sarkodie also released a new song today titled “Happy Day” in which he encouraged Ghanaians to give the NPP another chance to rule the country.
Over the weekend, singer Praye Tietia of Praye fame and actor James Gardiner were also in the Volta Region to campaign for the NPP.
