Veteran actor Fred Amugi received a big surprise as he celebrated his birthday earlier yesterday, November 5, 2020.
The actress turned 72 years old today and started his celebrations by posting some fine photos on his social media page.
Sharing the photos, Amugi sang praises unto the name of God saying:

“What shall I say unto the Lord? 72nd birthday today. May the name of the Lord be praised.”
Later in the day, Amugi got surprised for his birthday. The birthday surprise was organised by Accra-based 3FM and Starbites, a popular restaurant.
In a video sighted by us is seen inside his house at Dansoman dressed in an African print shirt.
Moments later, voices are heard singing a happy birthday song for the actor who looked quite surprised.
The surprise team included 3FM’s Mimi who is a co-presenter of Urban Blends, the programme with the special birthday segment.

After they sang for him, Fred Amugi received the gift package and spoke on the radio for some time.
In the video, the actor looked and sounded emotional as he was impressed by the gesture.
