A young man suspected to be an armed robber on Thursday, December 17, 2020, met his waterloo as he was burnt by angry mob in Karaga in the Northern Region.

It was gathered that the victim of jungle justice was gunned down and his body set ablaze after he and five others allegedly attacked a mobile money vendor.

The mobile money vendor, identified as Mohammed Miftawu, is said to have been attacked by the suspected robbers, numbering six at about 7.30 pm on Thursday.

The Northern Regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Bernard Baba Anangam confirmed the incident to Graphic Online.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) nationwide protest against the results of the just-ended general election continuous unabated.

Thousands of supporters of the party in the Ketu South constituency of the Volta region are the latest to join the crusade.

They took to the streets of the constituency on Thursday, December 17, 2020, to demonstrate what they labeled as a “stolen” verdict following the declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as president-elect.
