NDC and NPP MP’s engage in near ‘dirty fight ’ on the floor of parliament [Video]

Ghana parliament fight

Some Members of Parliament (MPs) from the NDC and NPP engage in a near fight on the floor today as the 7th parliament prepares to dissolve.

This conflict came as a result of the NDC resolve to occupy the majority side of the parliament. Cladded in white, the NDC MPs sent a clear message to the NPP MPs that they are the new majority in parliament and deserve to be seated where they are.

From reports, this new arrangement did not go down well with some of these NPP MPs who decided to confront the NDC MPs and asked them to move to the left side of the house.

Actually, this pandemonium erupted when Ursula Owusu Ekuful entered the parliament and said she will occupy her seat at the right side of the Speaker regardless of the NDC MPs’ decision to occupy that part of parliament.

This led to the scuffle between MPs on both sides but Ursula Owusu Ekuful is still seated amongst the NDC MPs and decided not to leave her seat.
