Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay’s “Pray for the World” song which was deleted from YouTube over song theft has been restored.

Wendy Shay recently took to her social media pages to register her displeasure after music streaming company, YouTube took down one of her music videos for copyright infringements.

The music video dubbed Pray for the World got unpublished after YouTube reportedly said it had the same chord progression as the hit South African song Jerusalema.

Giving an update on the matter, the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker said lawyers of her label, Rufftown Records, are trying to restore the video back on the global streaming platform.

Well, It seems Wendy Shay and her lawyers appeal made sense to YouTube’s copyright team and had to bring the song back.

Announcing the victory to her fans, she wrote;

“SHAYGANG we won ..yes we move ! SG ur Queen never stole any song oo …Pray for the world is back on YouTube and all digital platforms, Please all the BLOGGERS who posted it when it was taken down kindly let the world know is back on YouTube Let’s push positive news too Thank you 🙏🏾 Ghana Stand Up !#prayfortheworldisback“.
