Popular Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has reacted to the decision taken by the board of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to lift the ban that was placed on himself and colleague Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The two Dancehall giants were banned from participating in the last edition of the awards following a brawl between the two artistes of which Stonebwoy pulled up a gun in the midst of the confusion.
The board recently through a press release lifting the ban on the two musicians making them eligible to compete in the upcoming edition of the awards should the choose to accept.
Stonebwoy reacting to the release via his Twitter page stated they board should have called them both or their representatives in meeting to deliberate about either they will both accept to join the award scheme or not before putting it in the public domain.
Although he didn’t make a stand whether he will be accepting the offer or not, there seems to dissatisfaction from Stonebwoy concerning how the board made the decision without their knowledge or concern and the ‘If they so desire’ clause in the release.
