Funny Face renders apology to Ghana Police; says ‘I was going through a lot’ [video]


Ghanaian actor and musician, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro popularly known as Funny Face, has rendered an unqualified apology to the Ghana Police Service.

Funny face has been appearing before an Ofaakor Circuit Court after he was arrested for causing a disturbance with warning shots at a bar in Kasoa over a fight he lost.

The Ghanaian actor called out and cursed Ghana police for allegedly torturing him during his arrest and whilst he was in custody.

Funny Face

However, In a new video sighted by on the official Instagram page of the Cow and Chicken actor, Funny Face was seen standing on the compound of his house as he recorded the video.

The comedian rendered the apology by extending it to the Inspector General of Police right down to the last policeman over his outbursts.

He admitted not being fair to the security outfit by using words that were not fit to be used on them in the moments when he was facing some challenges.

According to the actor who has been at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for mental health treatment, he was “going through a lot as at that time”. He continued that “so I accept the fact that I used words that are not qualified to be used by a human being”.

In the video below, he concluded that “I am really Ghana Police, please forgive me”.
