Rapper AKA’s fiancée Nellie Tembe’s memorial service holds today

A memorial service will be held today for the late Nellie Tembe, South African rapper, AKA ’s fiancée. The model had fallen to her death from the 10th floor of a cape Town hotel on Sunday 11 April 2021.

At the time, witnesses recalled hearing a thud and finding a woman na¬k£d in the streets.

She was still breathing when medics arrived at the scene and tried to stabilize her. But her conduction deteriorated fast and she was soon declared dead.

While some opinions hint at suicide, others insist she fell. Either way, Nelli Tembe’s fiancée AKA is reportedly inconsolable at the news of her tragic passing.

AKA had accompanied her body to Durban from Cape Town via the King Shaka international Airport, reports claim, for her memorial service.

The memorial will reportedly be streamed live so that those who knew her might pay homage. Details of her funeral, from the Tembe and Forbes families, will be out shortly.

By the way, following her death, Nellie Tembe has become one of the most searched terms on Google in South Africa.

AKA is doing just fine now, according to his publicist Phumza Nohashe. He had reportedly sought grief counseling following Nellie Tembe’s death.
