Father of late Ghanaian dancehall star , Ebony Reigns, Nana Poku Kwarteng, says he has every reason to believe that the death of his daughter was orchestrated.
Mr Kwarteng made this revelation in an interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall with host Mike 2, a few days after Ebony Reigns’ family visited her grave to pay homage four years after her demise.
Speaking during the interview, Mr Opiku Kwarteng emphasized that ” I have always said and will say that Nana Hemaa and her people were murdered”.
Informed that his claims are wild allegations, he replied that ” have I mentioned anyone’s name? I said she was murdered but as to who murdered we are yet to find”.
Asked if he will assist the State in investigating his daughter’s death, he disclosed that “Maame Tiwa (former CID Director-General) told me that they can’t even take the driver to court because he also risked his life”.
“I was sitting with her one on one, she told me that and I laughed because it was so interesting,” he told Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall host, Mike 2 and added that “there was another witness who wanted to talk. But he was allowed to move on without asking him anything. They had to ask vital questions… My doubts are still relevant”.
According to the 40-year-old, “the investigations into Ebony Reigns death should have gone deeper. I want justice. I would love to see justice and I will like to know how this will end”.
