Black Sherif

Black Sherif , the stage name of Ghanaian musician Ishmael Mohammed Sherif, is certainly not happy about how his name has been attached with all the negative publicity.

This comes from his issues with his management and how his words are twisted in certain quarters premised on a recent interview he granted while in Nigeria.

Apparently, the 1st & 2nd Sermon rhymer had said during a radio interview in Nigeria that he feels safe in Lagos than in Accra. A tweep misinterpreted his statement to mean Lagos is safer than Accra.

The Twitter user, Bobbee retorted, ‘Black Sherif told a Nigerian YouTuber that Lagos is safer than Accra, wow.’ The post instantly caught his attention and without hesitation, the Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter provided a swift answer to set the record straight, saying;

Stop the cap, dude. I told Korty I can walk freely in Lagos cause nobody knows me there, and I can’t do the same in Accra cause I’m very famous here. That’s, literally, what I said, bro. What y’all want from me? Tell me.
