Limpopo born Ndavi Nokeri has been crowned Miss SA 2022, following in the footsteps of 2020 winner Shudufhadzo Musida.
The 23-year-old won the prestigious Miss South Africa 2022 title at a spectacular event held at Sun International’s flagship venue, the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria, on Saturday.
Ndavi was certainly a firm-favourite as she took the number one spot after being voted by the public into the top 5.

Miss South Africa 2021 Lalela Mswane, who is also the newly crowned Miss Supranational 2022 , placed the uBuhle bethingo lenkosazana (the beauty of the rainbow) crown on her teary-eyed successor’s head.
Ndavi will receive a stunning package of prizes and sponsorships worth more than R3 million when she takes over the crown from reigning Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane on Saturday night.
She is also set to collect R1 million in cash from the Miss South Africa Organisation as well as the use of a serviced apartment at the lavish Ellipse Waterfall – developed by Tricolt and Attacq – for the year of her reign.
Located in the heart of Waterfall City, the apartment comes fully furnished by Superbalist, with homeware by Woolworths and blinds by Galaxy Blinds. She will also get to drive a Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan during her reign.

Ayanda Thabethe, 22, from Maritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, secured second place, followed by Lebogang Mahlangu, 26, from Soshanguve, Pretoria.
The Top 10 competing for the crown were: Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi and Tamsyn Jack.
