Rwandan R&B singer Yvan Dushime Burabyo, widely known by his stage name as Yvan Buravan has died at aged 27.
Yvan passed on in India, where he was undergoing treatment since the beginning of the month. His management announced in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Yvan Dushime Burabyo, popularly known by his stage name as known as Yvan Buravan, was a talented young Rwandan R&B singer and songwriter.
He penetrated the media space with many of his works uploaded on Boomplay, which received a huge number of streaming and download.
Yvan Dushime Burabyo was identified as the first Rwandan musician to have bagged the Prix Decouvertes RFl musical, in 2018. His maiden single came out in 2015, however, his second single titled “Malaika” which was later released in 2016 earned him public recognition through East Africa.
He also released his debut album, which he titled “The love lab” in
Yvan Buravan Cause of Death.
Yvan Buravan died from cancer in India where he travelled to receive treatment. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but could not make it. He was just 27 years old.
