Missing 36-year-old Livonia mother of two Kasey Debat found dead

Kasey DeBat — A Livonia mother of two who had been missing since Monday was found dead Wednesday, Livonia police said.

Investigators say that Kasey DeBat’s body was found in Northfield Township, north of Ann Arbor. DeBat, 36, was married with two young daughters.

Kasey DeBat had been reported missing on Sept. 5 when she left her home in her white Ford Flex.

Her family told FOX 2 Tuesday that she had suffered from anxiety, but had never left before.

“Unfortunately, it appears at this time that she is the victim of an apparent suicide,” police said in a release.

Her body was found in Northfield Township, north of Ann Arbor, in Washtenaw County, Fox 2 reported.

Livonia police were assisted by the Northfield Township Police Department.

“This investigation remains open pending the findings of the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner,” police said in the release.
