CFD said when firefighters arrived at the scene they found heavy fire in the back of the house which made it impossible for firefighters to go inside.

The fire was struck out at about 9:10 p.m., CFD said.

After the fire was out, firefighters found two adult female victims dead in the wreckage, also in the back of the house.

It was not immediately clear if the women died in the fire or before the fire. The victims are in their early forties and CFD believe they lived in the home.
