American actress Riley Keough’s mother Lisa Marie Presley died Thursday at the age of 54. Lisa Marie, the only child of Rock legend Elvis Presley, suffered a cardiac arrest at her California home.

Lisa Marie, who was last seen in public at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this week, was placed in a medically-induced coma, TMZ reported. Her ex-husband and father of Riley, Danny Keough, had performed CPR on her before paramedics arrived, TMZ reported.

Who is Riley Keough?

Riley Keough is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough. She is also the granddaughter of actress Priscilla Presley and singer Elvis Presley.

She was born on May 29, 1989, at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. Keough’s father met her mother while performing as a bass guitarist in her mother’s band.

She had brother, Benjamin Storm Keough, who died by suicide in July 2020. She also has two half-sisters, twins Harper and Finley, from her mother’s fourth marriage to Michael Lockwood.

The 33-year-old made her feature film debut at age 20, appearing in a supporting role in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010). She subsequently starred in the thriller film The Good Doctor (2011) followed by the horror film Jack & Diane (2012), before being cast in a minor role in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy film Magic Mike (2012). She appeared in the big-budget action feature Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), the fourth film in the Mad Max series.

Prior to beginning a film career, she began modeling at age 15. She appeared in the Autumn/Winter 2004 ready-to-wear show for Dolce & Gabbana, followed by the Christian Dior ready-to-wear show for the Spring/Summer 2005 collection. She also featured on the United States cover of Vogue in August 2004.
