Ashley Pugh pleaded for prayers for her injured daughter after Jay Briscoe’s death.
After the tragic accident which took the life of professional wrestler Jay Briscoe, his wife Ashley Pugh pleaded for prayers for her injured daughter. Pugh revealed in a Facebook post that their daughter Gracie, 12, may not be able to walk again. Meanwhile, another daughter is battling serious injuries.
The accident happened when Briscoe was driving home from his daughters’ cheerleading competition and collided with another car in Laurel, Delaware.

“We need prayers! Gracie is on her way into surgery on her back,” Ashley Pugh wrote in a heartbreaking post, for Gracie. She continued, “Jamin would want the whole world praying for his little girl. WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!! Pray for the doctors and everyone working on her! Pray for her precious legs to move again! Pray for Jayleigh who has some pretty serious injuries, but is stable and resting! Pray for Gannon waiting at home! Pray for strength for all of us! We have a long long road ahead of us!”
Who is Ashley Pugh?
According to her Facebook profile, Pugh works at Laurel High School. She is from Seaford, Delaware. She studied at Delaware Technical Community College. Previously, she used to work for Trinity Logistics.
Briscoe mostly kept his personal life private and rarely posted about his family on social media. However, he did share a photo with Pugh and his children in early 2022.
He posed with his large family at Easter. He has two daughters and a son. His daughters are called Jayleigh and Gracie and his son is Gannon. He lived with his family in Sandy Fork, Delaware.
Gracie celebrated her 12th birthday on New Year’s Day. At the time, Ashley posted on Facebook. “Happy Birthday to my sweet Gracie! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what 12 brings!.”
Before the accident, Ashley posted a photo of the family heading to the cheer competition and stopping for cookies along the way.
