Mark Sheehan, guitarist for Irish pop band The Script, has died at age of 46.
Sheehan who formed the band alongside frontman Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power, died in hospital on Friday.

Who was Mark Sheehan?
Mark Anthony Sheehan was born on October 29, 1976 in The Liberties in Dublin, Ireland.
He was an Irish guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer.
Before he joined The Script in 2001, he was a member of Irish boyband Mytown.
Mark was the co-founder and lead guitarist of The Script.
The Script have sold over 20 million albums, with huge hits in songs such as The Man Who Can’t be Moved, For The First Time, We Cry and Hall of Fame.

Sheehan, 46, who formed the band alongside frontman Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power, died in hospital on Friday.
A statement on the band’s social media pages said: “Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness.
“The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time.”

Mark Sheehan cause of death:
It’s currently unknown what his cause of death was – or what illness he was suffering with.
Recently Mark had taken time out to be with his family – as his bandmates Danny and Glen took on the American leg of their tour.

Mark married Texas-native Rina Sheehan in 2005.
The couple were married for 17 years before it was revealed that Mark had shockingly passed away on Friday.
