Maxine Klibingaitis, officially known as Maxine Koran Klibingaitis was an Australian actress born on May 17, 1964.
She developed a love for acting at a younger age and was consistent throughout her career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after actresses.
Klibingaitis is best known locally and internationally for her roles in the popular television shows; “Prisoner” and “Neighbours” and many other roles on Australian TV.

She played teenage punk, Bobbie Mitchell on “Prisoner” from 1983 to 1985, and also starred as an apprentice plumber, Terry Inglis on “Neighbours “for six months in 1985.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he appeared in a number of other Aussie TV shows, including “Home and Away”, “The Flying Doctors” and “All Together Now”,
Klibingaitis also appeared in the first two Boronia Boys films, “Boronia Boys” and Boronia Backpackers as a local girl, Caz.
In 2007 she won the MUFF award for Best Supporting Female Actor for her role as an unhinged, diabetic punk woman in the film Moonlight & Magic.
Her last public appearance was at a Prisoner reunion in Melbourne in 2019. Sadly, Maxine Klibingaitis has passed away.
The award-winning actress died on Monday, 17 April 2023 at the age of 58. The cause of her death had not yet been disclosed.
