The 23-year-old is a rapper, singer, MC, and lyricist who is signed under the South Korean record label and entertainment agency, MYSTIC Story.
She is a member of the girl group, Billlie, which features seven other members. The K-pop group originally debuted in November 2021.

In early 2015, Sua appeared as a contestant on the show Unpretty Rapstar 2. Sua went to the final round, and she ended the show being third runner-up.
In early 2016, YG Entertainment declared plans to debut a new girl group, which is now BLACKPINK. While Moon Sua was likely a candidate for the group’s lineup, she was never officially included.
Her family consists of Kim Hyosun, her mother, and father Cheongju, Chungbuk Province and her elder brother Moonbin.
On the 5th of April 2019, it was reported that Sua has left YG Entertainment after nearly 10 years of performance.
Moon Sua was revealed as a trainee under the MYSTIC Rookies on the 19th of February in 2020. Sua was later on declared a member of the MYSTIC Story’s upcoming girl group Billie. The group debuted on the 10th of November in 2021 with their first mini album, The Billage of Perception: Chapter One.

The show premiered on the 30th of August. She was ranked number #5 during the show’s final episode which was released on the 8th of November in 2022.
On the 26th of January 2023, it was declared that Sua, alongside Tsuki and woo!ah!’s Nana, became the new MCs for the MBC’s music program Show Champion. She received training for 12 years before she began her career
Moon’s brother Astro Moonbin died on the 19th of April 2023. He was found dead at his residence. Moon has attended Hanlim Arts School.
