Charmed star Shannen Doherty has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, after 11 years of marriage.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress filed for divorce from the photographer after 11 years of marriage, according to the court filing obtained by TMZ on April 21.

The representative of The Hollywood star, Leslie Sloane, expressed to the outlet that, ‘Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.’
“You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID, as she is intimately involved,” Sloane added.
The pair, who tied the knot in October 2011, initially separated in January, according to documents obtained by TMZ; the outlet was first to report the news.
The Charmed alum, 52, is allegedly requesting spousal support and asking it not be awarded to her estranged photographer husband. The pair do not share any children.

In the wake of the breakup news, Doherty also shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram reading: “The only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness and total respect.”
Doherty and Iswarienko tied the knot in October 2011. The actress was previously married to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994, and Rick Salomon from 2002 to 2003.
The actress has spent the last few years dealing with ongoing treatments for stage 4 breast cancer.
She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She entered remission two years later, but revealed in 2020 that her cancer had returned as stage 4.

Doherty has made a point to share all of the good, bad and ugly of her cancer treatments since announcing in 2020 that the disease had come back the year prior.
In August 2016, the Heathers star praised Iswarienko for lending her strength and support while she battled the illness.
“My marriage was always strong, but it’s made my marriage a thousand times stronger,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. He’s never missed a chemo. He’s never missed a sick day.”
