In the latest round of news coming from the TV industry, actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya Upadhyay has passed away after she was returning from Himachal Pradesh.

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya and her fiancee’s car fell into the valley while they were returning from the hills. While Vaibhavi was a well-known face in the Gujarati theatre circuit, in Hindi shows she was most popular for her role as Jasmine in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
The show’s creator JD Majethia took to Twitter to inform about the tragic loss. He penned, ” Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress ,dear friend Vaibhavi upadhyay popularly known as“ Jasmine “of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away.
She met with an accident in north. Family will bring her to mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites . RIP vaibhavi .”

Apart from the comedy show, Vaibhavi has also worked with actor Ayush Mehra in Please Find Attached. She was also seen in TV shows CID, Left Right Left, Adaalat, and Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka, among others. Vaibhavi also has films like Citylights and Chhapaak to her credit.
Her last Instagram profile’s bio describes her as “I act for a living, and live for acting”. Her last post is a throwback video from a trip to the mountains that she took in 2019.

Vaibhavi Upadhyay loved the hills and her last video on Instagram is from Himachal Pradesh. The actress was making her way back when her car fell into the valley. Her mortal remains are being taken to Chandigarh, where her family will reach in sometime.

According to ETimes, the couple took a sharp turn and lost control of their car and fell into the valley. Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s brother rushed to the accident site soon after to claim the body.
Vaibhavi Upadhyaya Upadhyay comes as a shocker as it is the second death in the TV industry in 2 days. Ahead of this Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead in his bathroom under mysterious circumstances.
