In 2019, some Ghanaians were able to utilize social media to their advantage with some even generating viral posts, videos and putting issues up for discussion in the trends.
They rose up to become celebrities overnight on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and several blogs, and are still trending.

1. Counselor Charlotte:
2019 saw the rise of a strong controversial female Ghanaian Counselor, Lady Rev Dr. Charlotte Oduro.
After videos of her counseling advice went viral, she landed in the books of Nigerian singer Simi and that was the start of her reign on social media.
2. Shatta Bandle:
Ghanaian diminutive personality, Shatta Bandle, shot to fame through social media in 2019 by displaying his numerous acquired properties on the internet.
Shatta Bandle, known in real life as Idris Firdaus, brags about being richer than Africa’s richest Aliko Dangote and American billionaire Bill Gates. This is what shot him to fame with a huge fanbase in Nigeria and around the world.

The Instagram model and video vixen,Pamela Odame Watara internet sensation in 2019 with Ghanaians are talking about her.
She caught the attention of most people with her big-chested figure and to her well-countered physique.
Most ladies are envious of her exquisite physique and cannot help but secretly stalk her online. One can say she became a star when her adult videos leaked online.
4. Mr. Eventuarry:
This Ghanaian taxi driver, Mr. Eventuarry, shot to fame when his video went viral during an interview.
He gained attention after videos of his several interactions with others which include his funny laughter went viral on social media.
His “You don know why is going on” phrase became a national term which later boosted him to fly to Nigeria for his first solo comedy show.

7. Nana Made-In-China:
Nana Made-In-China is a young Ghanaian creative model and actor who won the internet after he recreated the outfit of ‘red carpet goddess’, Nana Akua Addo with a comic touch.
His unique sense of humour keeps his recreated photos in the trends on social media. For some time now, Nana Made-In-China has been impersonating the looks of Ghanaian celebrities by remaking their mind-blowing outfits adorned on the red carpet at events.
8. Hon. Aponkye
Honorable Aponkye is a defeated Assemblyman hopeful for Adukrom Nima in the Ashanti region. He is known in real life as Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampim.
He claim to fame happened after a video of him making wild campaign promises that would provide free breakfast for his people every day till the end of his tenure in office went viral.
