Abraham Attah grabs new role in Nigerian Immigrant Drama, Tazmanian Devil [watch]

Ghanaian born American-based actor, Abraham Attah of the ‘Beast of no Nation’ fame has grabbed a new role in the movie titled, “Tazmanian Devil” — a Nigerian immigrant drama.

Other stars of the feature debut from writer cum director Solomon Onita Jr. include Adepero Oduye (Central Park Five and Pariah), Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Chi, Queen of Katwe), and Kwesi Boakye (Claws, Flight)

The movie is the maiden project Attah and Boakye, both of Ghanaian descent have done on together.

Tazmanian Devil’ is a story centered around a 19-year-old Nigerian immigrant (Attah) who, after relocating to the US, finds it extremely difficult to socialize with his estranged father (Mwine) who neglected him and his mother (Oduye), in Nigeria, to chase his own calling of becoming a missionary.

At the time he finds acceptance in his process of joining a college fraternity, it is challenged by his strict and religious father, leaving him searching for his own moral ground.
