Actor, Kuntu Blankson of Akan Drama fame commits suicide

 
The Cape Coast township has been thrown into a state of shock as residents woke up this morning to the sad news of the demise of veteran actor Kuntu Blankson.
 
Veteran actor, Kuntu Blankson of the Akan drama television series which was aired in the 1990s has committed suicide.
The 60year old man was part of the Adehye Drama Group along with Joe, Adadzewa, amongst others.
He was one of the favourite characters of many because of how exciting his character was.
He was found dead in his kitchen this morning at the Moree Junction, a suburb of Cape Coast in the Central Region.
According to sources say, he sneaked out of the bedroom and crept to the kitchen to hang himself, leaving behind his wife and children in grief after he had earlier attempted suicide but did not succeed.
He was on a contract at the Laboratory of the University of Cape Coast.
