AKA Funeral Livestream:The Forbes family has released the funeral details of the late rap superstar, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes.
The grieving family of Kiernan “AKA” Jarryd Forbes have acknowledged the outpouring of love they have received so far from friends’ supporters of the Fela In Versace hitmaker.

Hip hop maestro AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, and his friend and former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were gunned down outside a popular eatery on Durban’s Florida Road on Friday evening.
Together, they made moves and opened doors for a lot of artists in the industry who are now left shattered over this gruesome incident.
The SAPS has mounted a manhunt for the gunmen, with images of the two of them caught on CCTV doing the rounds on social media.

Taking to his Instagram page, The Forbes family thanked the public for their love and support as they prepare to give AKA a proper send off.
“We as the Forbes family would like to acknowledge the outpouring of love we have received over the past few days. Kiernan wasn’t just loved by us as a family but by the nation,” they wrote in part.
They continued by saying they would like to celebrate his life with everyone who loved him, “…his memorial will therefore be open to the public as well as streamed online.”

AKA Funeral and Memorial service
The funeral details are as follows: “Kiernan will be laid to rest in a private provincial funeral on Saturday, 18 February 2023.”
His memorial service will take place on Friday, 17 February at the Sandton Convention Centre at 3PM. Those who wish to attend can do so by purchasing tickets at Web tickets however they will be limited.

His family has acknowledged the fact that AKA has teeming followers who would like to attend the funeral, however, due to proximity as well as private funeral arrangement, most of these fans cannot attend the service.
