Ann Lesley Smith is an American journalist and former prison chaplain.
She’s also a dental hygienist, model, singer, and songwriter. After working as a model, Ann became the host of the KFIV Ann Lesley Live radio show.
She also worked briefly as a Christian minister for the Manteca Police Department and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, before returning to journalism.

In March 2023, Ann made major headlines after it was reported that she was set to marry, Rupert Murdoch.
This comes a few days after the media tycoon, Rupert announced his engagement to Ann. The pair met in September 2022 at Rupert’s vineyard in California.
He proposed during St Patrick’s Day festivities in New York with an Asscher-cut diamond solitaire engagement ring that he “personally selected”.
Announcing the engagement in the New York Post, which is owned by Mr. Murdoch’s News Corporation, he said: “I was very nervous. I dreaded falling in love – but I knew this would be my last. It better be. I’m happy.
