Dave Myers was an English television presenter, and one half of the Hairy Bikers, along with Si King. He also appeared on the BBC celebrity talent show Strictly Come Dancing.
Together, Myers and King presented a number of television cookery series for the BBC. They also launched an online weight loss programme, ‘The Hairy Bikers Diet Club’.
Dave Myers died on 28 February 2024, at the age of 66.

Myers passed away with his friends and family by his side, two years after he revealed he was undergoing treatment for an unspecified type of cancer.
Myers – who found fame with Si King as part of motorcycle-riding cooking duo the Hairy Bikers – first announced he was receiving treatment for cancer in May 2022.
Then in September that year, he revealed he had lost his famous beard, saying: ‘I just miss having my beard, the feeling of it, because your skin’s different and all peachy.
Myers briefly took a break from work before filming his last show with King in May last year, which saw them travel west across Britain from Scotland to Devon.
And fans had noted that he looked much better in the series, The Hairy Bikers Go West, which has been airing on BBC Two this month since February 6.
His death therefore came as a shock to many people, who thought he had been getting better

David James Myers was born on 8 September 1957 to Margaret Myers and Jim Myers. They raised Dave in Barrow-in-Furness, where his father worked as a foreman in a paper mill.

Liliana Orzac is the wife of the late presenter Myers who is also known as the co-founder of The Hairy Bikers.
Liliana and Dave got married in 2011 after being in a long-term relationship. During their time together they kept their personal life out of the public eye.
Born in Romania, Liliana studied at The Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania as well as completing her Level 2 Certificate in English at the University of Cambridge in 2003.
After studying a Master’s in Geography and Tourism, Liliana explored numerous careers including working in a museum, sales and marketing and as a associate professor at a university.
Speaking about his wife to the Mirror previously, Dave revealed the pair met when they were filming in Romania and she worked at the hotel he stayed at.
