DC Young Fly is a 30-year-old American internet personality, comedian, actor, host, rapper, and singer-songwriter best known for his “roasting sessions” videos on Instagram and Vine.
“DC” in the name DC Young Fly stands for “Da Crew,” which means brotherly love. Everyone else on his crew has the same tattoo but in a different location.
The reason his tattoo is in the middle of his forehead is that when people look at him they know what he stands for.

John Whitfield better known as DC Young Frye is an American internet personality, comedian, actor, host, rapper, and singer-songwriter, best known for his “Roasting Sessions” video on Instagram and Vine. It is As of Season 7, he is one of the recurring cast members on MTV, VH1, and MTV2 improv comedy show Wild ‘N Out.
He was also one of the main hosts in the TRL revival on MTV in 2017-2018. He also appeared alongside fellow cast members Chico Bean and Carlos Miller at 85 South. Also known for appearing on the show podcast, former cast member Clayton English and is also well known for his appearances on the podcast “85 South Show.”
DC Young Fly amassed a sizable fan base because of his “roasting celeb” videos on Instagram and Vine, in which he would tell his “target” to “come dat ass here boi,” roast them, and then utter “faawwkk you mean” to close the roast. Celebrities like Kevin Hart, Michael Blackson, Lebron James, Chris Tucker, and others have endorsed him as a result of his videos.
He joined the cast of Wild ‘N Out on MTV2 in Season 7 in 2015, and his debut season earned him the title of “Rookie of the Year.” He appeared in Almost Christmas, a holiday comedy-drama, which was released in theaters everywhere on November 11, 2016, and he also played the lead in the indie film

In 2017, he appeared in three BET productions, including Tales, The Quad, and The New Edition Story, in addition to opening for Chris Brown’s “Party Tour.” He was one of the primary hosts for the MTV resurrection of TRL in the same year, which aired from 2017 to 2018 when it ceased production and moved to Facebook.
He made two movies in 2018—I Got the Hook Up 2 with Master P and She Ball with Nick Cannon and released a new mixtape titled “Curb Music” on July 12, 2019. In addition, it was revealed in October 2018 that he would co-star with rapper Lil Yachty in the 2019 sequel, How High 2, which would air on MTV on April 20, 2019.
In 2019, he co-hosted the BET Social Awards with fellow performer Jess Hilarious. Whitfield began appearing as the opening act for R&B artist Eric Bellinger’s “Cuffing Season Tour” in December 2019. DC Young Fly joined the panel of judges for the online game show Floored in 2020 on the “Quibi” streaming platform. He co-hosted the BET Hip-Hop Awards with Chico Bean and Karlous Miller in October 2020 and 2021.

DC Young Fly Parents
Solomon Whitefield and Betty Whitefield gave birth to DC Young. His parents split in 2006, thus they are no longer married. In the United States of America, Dc Young Fly’s father was born in the year 1931. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years after divorcing DC Young’s mother.
