She bemoaned that the money which is being used to construct the National Cathedral could have been used to complete the project which would serve as a shelter for the homeless.

“What happened to the affordable housing project? Why is it not in use? Because it belongs to NDC right? Does everything have to be political. The money they wanted to use for the cathedral can build homeless shelters, and it won’t even take up to one month to put it up,” she wrote on Twitter.

Efia Odo also found fault about how foods are shared among the vulnerable following the lockdown in some parts of the country to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus.

She added “Instead of cooking rice, give each family a pack of rice oil and water etc. They shouldn’t be forming queues and fighting in lines for food! It should be done neighborhood to neighborhood and a given time. No one should get food unless they are indoors.

“The way the food is being distributed is bogus. How can the vulnerable and weak fight for these take away packs they’re giving out. It’s literally battle of the fittest. After they eat this one pack of food then what? They will get hungry again! So much for social distancing.”
