FreeAkuapemPoloo: Sarkodie ‘goes on his knees’ to beg for Rosemond Brown

Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo who is known as Sarkodie has also joined the #FreeAkuapemPoloo campaign.

Sarkodie took to his Twitter handle to call on the authorities handling the Rosemond Brown case to temper justice with mercy since sentencing her would seem a “little harsh”.

Sarkodie added that it would seem a little on the hard side separating a mother from her child just because of some pictures they took together.

Sarkodie’s tweet read: “I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from the mum just because of pictures taken … would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister Folded hands #FreeAkuapemPoloo”

Sarkodie adds up to a growing number of celebrities and influencers who have leaned into the case in defence of Akuapem Poloo.

Actress Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo who was Wednesday, April 14 ,2021, convicted by the Accra Circuit Court over her nud£ pictures with her son.

The social media sensation on her son’s seventh birthday posted some n¬k£d photos which caused an uproar amongst a section of Ghanaians.

After months of court proceedings, she has been remanded into custody to undergo a pregnancy test before her sentencing.

Subsequently, on Wednesday, the actress pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court presided over by Christina Cann.
