Nigerian Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage, recently stirred reactions online with a revelation she made about herself and her music career.
During a recent interview with MTV Live, Tiwa Savage spoke about her recent foray into the movie industry and how the journey has been so far for her.
While talking about her new movie, Tiwa Savage revealed how acting was her first love.

The renowned Afrobeats superstar revealed in the interview how she abandoned her acting career to pursue music.
She shared that a man she had a massive crush on was why she went into music. Tiwa noted that the person was always around musicians.
“I’ve always wanted to do acting. Acting was one of my first loves before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy, and he was always around musicians, so I said, ‘yeah, forget acting and just go into music,’” Tiwa revealed.

Tiwa recently released her new movie ‘Water and Gari’ which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
She noted that for acting being her first love, it was a “dream come true” for her to be the Executive Producer for the movie.
Despite the strange circumstances of how she entered into the music industry, Tiwa has managed to be one of Nigerians most prominent and successful artistes winning many awards to her name.
