My School will teach kids acting, comedy, other skills- Lil’Win reveals

Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as “LilWin”, has established a preparatory school at Offinso Ahenkro in the Ashanti Region.

The school named Great Minds International School was officially opened on Tuesday September 25, 2018.

According to him, teaching pupils acting is a way of bringing out other talents in them.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based radio Sikka FM, Lil Win as he is affectionately called indicated, ”because I want the best for my people, I have provided all the necessary facilities to enhance teaching and learning. As time goes on, we are going to introduce acting, music, comedy, among many others in the school”.

Acting does not form part of Ghana Education Service’s (GES) curricula and it is not clear how the actor is going to incorporate it into the study of the pupils but he revealed: “having formal education does not guarantee one’s success, hence the idea of introducing such craft in the new school”.

Lil Win as well assured he will introduce other vocational training for his pupils to equip them in life.
