Notorious Asante Kotoko fan, Seidu Mba arrested over Canadian girls’ kidnapping

Asante Kotoko supporter Seidu Mba has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of two Canadian ladies in Kumasi last week around the Royal Golf Club.

The two girls, working with a local NGO, were kidnapped were rescued by a joint operation between the Ghana and Canada security forces on Wednesday, June 12.

The staunch Kotoko fan is believed to be the mastermind behind the kidnappings of the girls who went missing for sometime now.

According to reports Seidu Mba was arrested after the two Nigerians who were captured when the Canadians were rescued fingered him as their leader.

Seidu is known for causing troubles at matches of Kotoko with his most notable incident the chasing away of former Kotoko coach Zravdko Lugarusic from the club’s training grounds.

Seidu was also reportedly part of the Delta Force squad that stormed the Kumasi High Court, manhandled a judge and freed their members last year.
