President Akufo Addo lifts ban on churches: says 100 congregants at a service

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president of the republic of Ghana has at long last listened to the cries of Ghanaian pastors to some extent by lifting up the ban on churches with not more than 100 members in attendance.

The President made this announcement on his 10th Covid-19 address Sunday night.

He elaborated that churches must disinfect their places of worship to ensure safety measures. The order takes effect from Friday, 5th June, 2020.

The President also noted that the church service must last for one hour with the observation of all safety measures.
