Rapper Blueface was arrested in court and taken into police custody for his alleged involvement in a Las Vegas robbery on Wednesday.
Last November, Las Vegas Metro police arrested the 26-year-old Los Angeles-based performer, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, on an attempted murder charge. A judge later released him on $50,000 bail.

While walking into court for a preliminary hearing on that charge, Porter was taken into custody on the new charge, his attorneys Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld said.
“We do not have any information about the new case but we are told that this involves taking a cell phone from a woman at the Palms casino,” his attorneys told 8 News Now. “We look forward to defending him in court in both of these cases.”
At the time, eyewitnesses observed between six to eight officers were in unmarked vehicles and conducted the arrest.
The rapper’s girlfriend Chrisean Rock was with Blueface when he was arrested.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released the following statement: ‘On November 15, 2022 at approximately 2:40 p.m., LVMPD detectives arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Porter on charges stemming from a shooting that took place on October 8, 2022 in the 6300 block of Windy Road.’
The statement added that Porter would also be booked into the Clark County Detention Center on warrants for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at/into an occupied structure.
Blueface was born in Los Angeles and played football for Arleta High School in the San Fernando Valley area.
He started rapping in January 2017 under the stage name Blueface Bleedem, a reference to his ties to the School Yard Crips street gang.
Blueface previously was arrested in November 2018 in California and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle after he fired at a gas station robber. He also was arrested in February 2019 for felony gun possession after law enforcement recovered a loaded, unregistered handgun in his possession.
Blueface shares a three-year-old son, named Javaughn J. Porter, with his ex-girlfriend, Javaughn J. Porter.
He is currently expecting a baby with Chrisean, who is about 24 weeks into her pregnancy.
Last month, she shared a video of herself getting an ultrasound with a lengthy caption about having to ‘pray the fear away of being a mommy.’
She went on to say that she is tackling ‘heartbreak’ and not feeling that becoming a mother will stop her from ‘making money.’
