Ghanaian sakawa boy identified as Benjamin Amoonu who alleged his colleagues are spiritually insane,has recounted how he posed as gay to rip off his foreign customers.
Benjamin 21, a JHS 2 student who resides in Tema disclosed that he began the internet fraud by coming into contact with a foreigner who was so much interested in him just because he, the former bears the same name as his victim’s father.

As said by him, the victim needed a gay partner, and due to his fast wish for money, he pretended as one when in real life he was not.
His desire for education persistently decline until he eventually stopped school at JHS 2, at the time he was only 21.
Benjamin revealed that the maiden money he got from this customer was USD1,700.
He went to say that, at a point, the money reduced – miraculously maybe – as a result of his friend’s evil plans and negative influence.

“He used to send me big money. At least every week he used (sic) to send me 700 dollars until later it declined to 100 cedis,’’he said.
Speaking on the practice of juju in the Sakawa, he expounded that his friends led him to a traditional priest in Atebubu in the Bono East Region. Opposite to his anticipation, his correlation with the victim even worsened subsequently.
The young man indicated that some of his friends are now facing “spiritual attacks” as a result of their attempt to cast spells on their clients.
