Former girlfriend of Shatta Wale Michelle Diamond Gbagonah, aka Michy has admitted that her break-up with the singer has been a blessing in disguise.
The two made their separation known this year after months of rumours about their rift. It is unclear what exactly caused them to part ways.
However, Michy has counted her liberation from the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker as a blessing in disguise.

Michy made this disclosure during a recent conversation with E WITHBECKS. She said: “I have achieved quite a few goals, personal goals like getting closer to God.
“The moral of the experience I have gone through was to know that at the top, at the bottom, you keep going. I have been motivated from this situation much more than I ever was. I have been motivated to do proper things.” .
“I can say it was a blessing in disguise for me. It is a Blessing in Disguise.” Michy added
In addition to her personal development, Michy indicated that she has been able to set up her new food joint ‘Chopuis’ and is steadily growing.

Michy added that she has been able to set up a Skin Care line ‘Glamorous by Michy’ regardless of her break up with her baby daddy
Michy further indicated that she bought a house for herself just two months after breaking up with Shatta Wale.
“I’ve bought a house for myself within two months of the breakup, there’s more to be achieved. I launched a skincare line, glam by Michy, I was just testing the waters and it just worked for me. I now understand when they say when you walk with God, you walk in confidence because he comes through for you when even you don’t believe that you could do this. I have my chopius food business going very strong” she said.
“I am doing almost everything I’m supposed to be doing at this particular time of my life. There’s a certain kind of personal development that I’m going through right now, a transformation, it’s such an empowering feeling” she added .
Michy further revealed that she will on January 5, next year celebrate her “one year of freedom”.
