Shatta Michy reacts after Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono squash ‘beef’

Shatta Wale’s ex-partner, Shatta Michy, born Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, has reacted to the recent reunion between the dancehall artiste and Tema-based rapper Yaa Pono.

On Saturday, February 29, Shatta Wale made peace with one of his arch-rivals, Yaa Pono.

For three years, the two Ghanaian artistes have been engaged in a lyrical ‘beef’.

It all started when Shatta Wale’s team denied Yaa Pono from performing on the same stage during a concert in Cape Coast.

Yaa Pono called out Shatta Wale on social media and challenged him to a beef which the latter accepted.

After a couple of diss songs from the two, the intensity of the ‘beef’ declined when Yaa Pono landed a heavy punch with his tune “Gbee Naabu” in 2017.

In a video that has popped up, the two were seen together at the Narcos All Black Party.

Shatta Wale announced that their beef was purely for business and fans should not to take it to heart.

I want to send the message across. When we are beefing, my fans, don’t take it to your hearts. Because we make money out of it. We behave like politicians,” he said.

‘Gbee Naabu’ singer Yaa Pono was seen smiling while Shatta Wale made these comments.

Shatta Mitchy, after seeing the video on Instagram, posted a comment about the reunion between the two.
