Nollywood actress Ini Edo hits the street to feed thousands amid coronavirus crisis [Video]

Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo has joined her colleagues like Tonto Dikeh, Toyin Abraham and others who are giving relief to the vulnerable in this global crisis.

As Nigeria joins other countries in the world to battle the coronavirus pandemic, it has become evident that even beyond the virus; the issue of hunger poses a great threat to residents that have been instructed to stay at home in other to curb the spread of the virus.

Although the federal and state governments have initiated several stimulus packages to help individuals cope with the situation at hand, there are still complains by vulnerable Nigerians who have no means to feed their family.

Among those who have now risen to the occasion and championed an initiative to complement the effort of the government is Nigerian actress Ini Edo .

Ini Edo in collaboration with ‘The Peoples Food Bank’ has stormed the streets in Lagos to give food and PPE materials to the needy.

In a video shared to social media, Ini Edo wrote;

‘I am grateful for the privilege to work with @thepeoplesfoodbank and other organizations to provide food and some relief materials to as many underprivileged as possible, to relief the hunger level in our communities during this pandemic..
