Since the outbreak of the deadly global pandemic, many tricksters have tricked people into buying starch-made hand sanitizers and other fake products with the knowledge that it will prevent contraction of the coronavirus.

It is in view of this that a man has been arrested for selling a supposed Coronavirus Preventive Cream in Awutu Breku in the Central Region.
According to the narration of the reporter, the man convinced people that they won’t need to wash their hands or use nose masks once they buy and use his carefully prepared preventive cream.
After a close and careful observation, it was noted that the content in the containers were just Shea butter.

However, he could not ascertain if additives had been added to give it the potency to kill COVID-19.
