Paul Cattermole, officially known as Paul Gerald Cattermole was an English singer and actor born on March 7, 1977.
He developed a love for music and acting at a younger age and was consistent throughout his career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after English acts.
Born in St Albans, Hertfordshire, he was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and appeared in “Pendragon”.

Paul Cattermole was best known as being a member of the British group S Club 7 from 1999 until his departure from the group in 2002.
He became a member of S Club 7 after a series of auditions, along with members Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt, and Rachel Stevens in 1999.
After exiting the group in 2002, he returned to the group in 2015 for their reunion tour and was due to return in 2023 for a planned second reunion tour.
During his time with S Club 7, they released four number-one singles and one number-one album. The group also had a series of TV shows including; Miami 7, L.A. 7, Hollywood 7, and Viva S Club.
Over the five years they were together, S Club 7 had four UK No.1 singles, one UK No.1 album, and a string of hits throughout Europe, including a top-ten single in the United States, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

S Club 7 recorded a total of four studio albums, released eleven singles, and went on to sell over fourteen million albums worldwide.
Well, Paul Cattermole has died. He passed away on April 6, 2023. His unexpected death comes just weeks after the group announced it was going on a major reunion tour.
According to reports, Paul Cattermole was found unresponsive at his home in Dorset on Thursday, 6 April 2023, and was pronounced dead later that day at the age of 46. His cause of death has not yet been made public but police said the death was not suspicious.
A statement from his family and S Club 7 said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.
“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.
“Paul’s family, friends, and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time”.
A statement on the S Club’s social media accounts said: “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.
“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
“He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”
