Details of Tina Turner’s funeral have been revealed after the iconic singer died on Tuesday at the age of 83.
The legendary singer passed away in Küsnach near Zurich following a long, unspecified illness.
She had previously battled intestinal cancer and suffered with high blood pressure for over four decades.

Anna Mae Bullock, famously known as Tina Turner, was a singer born on November 26, 1939, in Brownsville, Tennessee.
In 1957, Turner began her musical career when she joined her ex-husband, Ike Turner’s group, King of Rhythm.
At the time, Turner was creating music until the name Little Ann.
However, in 1960, Bullock made her debut under the alias Tina Turner after her hit duet with ex-husband A Fool in Love.
Following her debut under her new name, Tina and Ike released hit after hit including her famous songs, River Deep – Mountain High, and Proud Mary.
During the 60s and 70s, Tina was in an allegedly abusive relationship with Ike.
By 1978, the singer divorced Ike and a few years later, in the 80s, she started her successful career as a solo artist.
Turner was named the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll due to her unique vocals and eccentric stage presence.
Throughout her solo career, Turner received eight Grammy Awards.
In 1991, Turner was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame alongside Ike, and later in 2021, the artist was inducted independently.

Turner’s representatives have since confirmed that The Best singer died of natural causes.

Extensive plans for the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s funeral have not yet been made public, but a spokesperson for the family confirmed that only the star’s closest friends and family will be in attendance for the intimate ceremony.
‘There will be a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family,’ the spokesperson confirmed.
They announced the news of her death earlier this week on Tuesday, May 24, saying: ‘With her the world loses a music legend and role model.’

Since news of Tuner’s death broke, well-wishers have been gathering outside the star’s lakeside house to pay tribute to the music legend who had made Switzerland her home for nearly three decades.
A large crowd began gathering outside the cast-iron gate yesterday evening, shrouded in darkness, with fans walking up one by one to lay flowers or set out candles, some flickering through red-tinted glass jars.
