Victoria Davey Spelling, famously known as Tori Spelling is a renowned household name in the creative industry. Her acting, as well as her writing skills, are impeccable. She was born on May 16, 1973, in Los Angeles California.
She was born to Aaron Spelling, who worked as a television and film producer, and Candy Spelling. She was raised together with her younger brother, Randy, whom she grew to have so much in common with.
She went to Beverly Hills High School and later to Harvard-Westlake School, an elite private institution. Her father started nurturing her acting skills at a very young age. When she was six years old, he hired an acting coach for her. She eventually started getting guest roles on series such as “The Love Boat,” “T.J. Hooker,” and “Fantasy Island.”
She rose to prominence at the age of 17, after she was given a major role as Donna Martin in the commercially successful series, “Beverly Hills, 90210.” The show was produced by Spelling Television, her father’s production company. Because of that role, she became a nominee for two Young Artist Awards.
She went on to flourish as a successful television actress in several television films such as, “A Friend to Die For,” which was released in 1994, “A Carol Christmas” in 2003, and in 2018, she featured in, “The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time.”
She subsequently moved to independent films including “The House of Yes,” which was released in 1997, “Scary Movie 2” in 2001, “Kiss the Bride” in 2007, and “Izzie’s Way Home” in 2016, among others. In 2019, she reiterated the role of Donna Martin in the spin-off of “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
As an author, most of her books are best-sellers, and topping the list is her autobiography, “Story Telling” which was awarded the first position on the New York Times Best Seller list as well as the best celebrity autobiography of 2009.

After the completion of ‘Beverly Hills’, she debuted on stage with the play ‘Maybe Baby, It’s You’ in 2002. Her next big venture was in the VH1 sitcom ‘So NoTORIous’ in 2006, where she appeared as herself.
In 2009, it was announced that she would reprise her role as Donna Martin in the new series of ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ which aired as ‘90210’ only.
She hosted the animated television series ‘My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’, in the finale of its second season, which aired on April 21, 2012.
‘Yo Gabba Gabba!’, an American children’s television show, had her as their special guest on the eve of Christmas on December 18, 2012, where she was seen baking cookies.
