A trotro mate situated in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region popularly called Lumba is in the custody of police after attempting to electrifying his SHS girlfriend.
Base on reports, Lumba’s girlfriend identified as Theresa Oppong is an SHS student who visited her boyfriend’s house to retrieve an amount of ¢200 Lumba owed her.

She said that she decided to sit on Lumba’s bed whiles waiting for him to bring her money but to her ultimate surprise, she felt an electric shock in her vagina all of a sudden which made her weak.
As soon as the shock took place, Lumba came in and started beating her up and hitting her head using various objects.
She continued by saying : “He covered my mouth so I was unable to shout for help by the time his neighbours came to my rescue he had run away,”

Neighbours who came to her rescue revealed that they heard some noise coming from Lumba’s room and decide to check it out.
After forcefully breaking the door, they saw the victim lying in a pool of blood.
Mother of the victim speaking in an interview also said she had earlier heard her daughter complain on phone with someone but did not know who it was.

She added that she heard her daughter telling the person she was coming for her money if he did not buy what she needed only to be called later that her daughter has been taken to the hospital.
The victim is currently on admission at a health facility receiving treatment.
