Anna Shay, an heiress, philanthropist and breakout star of the Netflix reality series Bling Empire, has died at the age of 62.
Shay appeared on Bling Empire starting in its inaugural season on Netflix in 2021, quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Anna Shay was an American heiress and reality television personality born in Tokyo, Japan in 1960.
Anna was born to Ai Oizumi, who descended from Russian nobility, and Edward Shay, an American industrialist who founded the defense and government services contracting firm Pacific Architects and Engineers.
She has a brother named Allen. As a child, Shay moved with her parents to Los Angeles, California.
Due to her family’s half-a-billion-dollar fortune, mostly accrued through Pacific Architects and Engineers, she spent much of her youth traveling around the world for state dinners and other lofty affairs.
Anna Shay gained widespread recognition in 2021 for starring on the hit Netflix reality show “Bling Empire.”

What was Anna Shay’s cause of death? On Monday, June 5, 2023, it was announced Anna Shay passed away after suffering from a stroke.
People confirmed the death of the Bling Empire star.
Shay’s family released a statement, saying: “It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, has passed away at the early age of 62 from a stroke.
“Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the finer things.”
The statement closed: “Her impact on our lives will be forever missed but never forgotten.”

Was Anna Shay married? While starring in Bling Empire, Anna revealed that she had been married and divorced four times over.
The identities of her ex-husbands haven’t been disclosed.
